So Sad

It's embarrassing I know, but I cried tonight. For those of you that know me well, you know that one of the shows that I have watched consistently for the past seven years (although I have taken a lot of flack for it) is Gilmore Girls. I just really like the show. Anyway, tonight was the series finale and it was good - really good. I'm sad the show has ended, but there's always re-runs on ABC Family.

By the way, for anyone who's interested, I got my grade on the proposal that I turned in a couple of weeks ago. I really did/do think it is not my best work, and I was quite worried about what I'd get as a grade. I feared it would by my first B (the final grade in the course) in the doc program. However, I ended up making an A on the proposal and get this - there were only three corrections on it. I really don't think the professor read it. But hey, I'm going to take it. I have to turn it in to my major professor next month. I will be doing some more work on it before it goes to her - she will definitely read it.

I hope all is well for all of you. Thanks for reading.

There's something that always chokes me up when I'm faced with finality.

I remember my last day in high school, my last night at club, my last moment on the Sing Song stage, my last chapel, my last drive home from ACU (Kelly and I both cried), the last night Kelly and I had before Tate arrived - I even remember Troy Aikman's and Michael Irvin's last games as Cowboys!

I recently tripped over Mr. Roger's final good-bye at the end of his last episode of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood on YouTube. He had really sweet things to say and I found myself getting a lump in my throat . . . although I did not cry.

I guess what I'm trying to say is - I know what you mean.

Hey Mario. I came across your blog through Jason Isbell's. And, uhhh, my eyes were a bit blurry last night while watching the Gilmores too. Confession is good.

So I found your blog through Joanna's blog. Yes, the Gilmore Girl's finale made me cry too. Very sad. The show should've gone one more year to wrap up the Laurelai/Luke thing! And I know a couple of guys that love that show too...
