back on-line
I returned from visiting my college roommate and his family in Belton two weeks ago to find that my internet wasn't working. I called my internet service provider and they said outages were occurring in my zip code. It wasn't until last Friday that a service technician came to fix things. All is well with the world now.
Belton was great. It was wonderful to spend time with good friends. My college roommate led singing on the Sunday I was there. I believe I've mentioned this before, but I think it's really interesting to see how my generation has moved into the leadership positions in our assemblies. A lot of my friends are ministers, many lead worship, some are deacons. When did we all grow up?
Right now I go to class for eight hours every Monday and Wednesday. It makes for long days, but Summer I will be over in about three weeks. I presented in both of the classes I attend today. I led my Ethics class in a discussion about the ethics of assessment instruments - sounds boring, huh? But I showed a great clip from the movie Armageddon - where all of the guys are getting psych tests before they go into space. It's really funny. I also taught about assessing for, planning, and implementing a counseling program in secondary schools in my evening class. It went alright. Each day I feel more and more like a professor. Again, when did we all grow up?
OK - that's enough rambling for now. Sunago II will be upon us sooner than we think. I am ready and willing to take all money for the venture.
Thanks for reading.

Yes brotha...our check is in the mail.
B/c we're all over 30 now! Scary. Just as soon as I feel grown up, something happens to make me question that...like this morning when I heard the news that Justin T. & Cameron Diaz have broken up...gasp!! :)
I may be a thirtysomething but I have not grown up. And actually MDLG, I wouldn't label you a grown-up either for reasons that shall go unmentioned here. ;) So exactly where is Sunago II going to be? I'm hearing whispers of Cali...
